Keep on tryin'
He sighed.
He watched her sleep. They had fought again. She was so insecure, so afraid that he would one day hurt her. He never wanted to hurt her, not on pourpoise. But sometimes there were accidents and that made her afraid and him hate himself. Sometimes they broke up, but she always came back and he was grateful of that. And when she came back, he tried not to drink again. He really tried, but sometimes, after a long and hard day at work, he couldn't really help himself. Sometimes he also felt she was very distant. He drank and she was distant. That's just how it was. But not all days were bad. Whenever he was able to made her smile, there was nothing in the world that could've satisfied him more. Seeing her happy.
He just had promised never to lie for her again. It was a big deal for him, because he had so many times said "I will never drink again" and never had he kept that promise. But now if he said that to her, he would have to keep it.
He cried.
He always cried quietly, during the nights, so he wouldn't bother her. Sometimes his life was just too much. Sometimes he didn't feel like home at all, he wanted to find his way back home to her, but he couldn't. He just wanted to find his way back home.
He sighed.
